What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy explores the links between thoughts, feelings and behaviour. CBT aims to explore negative cycles and teach you how to break them. You can find out more by clicking here

How much does therapy cost?
Individual sessions with me are £100 per appointment, payable 48 hours prior to your appointment. I offer a concessionary fee of £65 for individuals receiving Universal Credit. Evidence of benefits will be taken prior to booking.
-
How long is each session?
Each session lasts 50 minutes - 1 hour.
-
Do you offer sessions in person or remotely?
At the moment, all sessions are conducted online via Zoom.
-
When can I have sessions?
Sessions are typically booked within 3 weeks of your initial consultation. I tend to book sessions according to available appointments - this is usually mid morning or mid afternoon/late evening.
-
How often will I need to come to therapy?
I recommend CBT on a weekly basis. Sessions tend to go up to 12 or even 20 sessions. I always ask clients to commit to an initial 6 and then see if they require further treatment. For more deep rooted mental health issues, extended time in therapy is an option but always with a view to treating your condition and alleviating the problem.

Can I bring someone with me?
Unfortunately, I do not offer sessions for couples or families. Sessions must be booked by and attended by the individual receiving the therapy alone. I tend not to book appointments via family members and kindly request that the client themselves reach out if they require an appointment.
